Groups & Meetings

WRAP is a personalized plan that will cover the four areas of Mental Health Recovery: Five key concepts, Wellness Toolbox, Six parts of WRAP, and Recovery topics. WRAP is a 10 week workshop that offers a certification if one attends 8 out of the 10 sessions. The program is open to everyone wanting to write a WRAP including people with lived experience of mental illness. TUESDAY

Groups are at 3313 Washington St, Jamaica Plain. Parking is available.

1-5 pm: Job Search/Open Computer Lab

1--2 pm: Networking for the Job Hunter
Peer led job hunting group focusing on networking as the number one way to obtain a job.

2--3 pm: Job Skills for Successful Employment
This peer-led employment meeting is designed to assist people in identifying the skills you already have and to cultivate the skills necessary for successful job searching, interviewing and maintaining employment.

3-5 pm: Individual Computer Instruction
Please call to reserve a time to meet individually with an instructor.

WEDNESDAY

All groups on Wednesday held at MBRLC/ The Hope Center, 25 Staniford St., Boston

11-12 pm: Employment Workshop
This is a peer led group in which we will discuss job searching, soft skills, job interviewing and sparking an interest in pre-employment activities

12:15-1:15 pm: Recovery Is Real
Group directed and peer facilitated support group. It is based on the belief that recovery is possible for everyone.

1:30-3 pm: Buried in Treasures
This is a supportive group where people can work on letting go of and not acquiring new possessions all at their own unique pace. To register call Idony Lisle at (617) 626-8693 or email idony.lisle@mbrlc.org

Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP)

1-5 pm: Job Search/Open Computer Lab

1-2 pm: Introduction to Computers Class
Free computer training: how to use the mouse, browsing the internet, social networking, plus setting up and using email. Individual instruction is also available. To schedule please call (617) 788-1034.

2-3 pm: Intermediate Computer Class
Topics include: Microsoft Word, on-line job searching, using job search websites. For individual instruction call (617) 788-1034.

2-3 pm: Recovery is Real
A peer facilitated support group which focuses on support and uses inspirational quotes.

3-5 pm: Individual Computer Instruction
Please call (617) 788-1034 to reserve a time to meet individually with an instructor.

SATURDAY

All groups on Saturday held at MBRLC/PERC 3313 Washington St. Jamaica Plain, MA. Parking is available.

10 am-6 pm: Job Search/Open Computer Lab

10:30-11:30 am: and 2:30 to 4 pm: Individual Computer Instruction

10:30-11:30 am: WRAP for Work Group **
WRAP for Work is a peer-facilitated five week drop-in group which covers wellness and WRAP in the workplace.

12 -1pm: Recovery is Real
